02 · The questions
The starting point

Most people are given exercises. Very few are given an explanation.

You can stretch a tight neck for years without ever finding out why it keeps tightening. This workshop starts at the other end.

?

Why does your neck feel tight, no matter how much you stretch it?

?

Why does your back ache on some days and behave perfectly on others?

?

Why does a knee or a shoulder keep becoming uncomfortable, then settle, then start again?

03 · Two zones
What we cover

One workshop. Two body zones. One connected body.

We work through the body in two halves so it is easy to follow, then spend time on how the two talk to each other.

Zone One

Waist up
  • Rib cage & thoracic spine
  • Upper back & neck
  • Shoulder blades & collarbone
  • Shoulders
  • Upper arms
  • Elbows
  • Lower arms
  • Wrists
  • Hands & fingers

Zone Two

Waist down
  • Lower back
  • Pelvic girdle
  • Sacrum & tailbone
  • Glutes
  • Upper legs
  • Knees
  • Lower legs
  • Ankles
  • Feet & toes

We split the body in two for learning. Your body has never worked that way, and a good part of the afternoon is spent on why the sore spot is often not where the problem started.

05 · What you learn
What will I learn?

You will leave understanding nine things you may not know.

How the body's mechanics influence the way you move
How different parts of the body work together
The relationship between physical movement and discomfort
How the nervous system and body chemistry can influence the experience of discomfort and pain
Why the area that feels uncomfortable is not always the whole story
Simple movement approaches that may help with everyday stiffness and tension
When an area may benefit from greater mobility or lengthening
How strengthening can improve support, control and confidence in movement
Practical movements and strategies you can keep using at home

11 · FAQ
Before you register

The questions people ask us first.

Do I need to be fit, or know anything about anatomy?

No. The workshop is built for people who have never done anything like this. Everything is explained from the ground up and every movement has an easier version if you need one.

Is this a treatment session? Will my pain be fixed on the day?

This is education, not treatment, and we would not want to promise you a fix. What you get is a much better understanding of what is happening and a set of practical things to try. Plenty of people find real relief from that. If something needs hands-on attention or a medical opinion, Tim will say so.

Why only 10 people?

Because the workshop is hands-on from start to finish. Ten is the largest group where Tim can still get to everyone individually and correct what he sees. It is a deliberate limit rather than a marketing one, which is also why seats do run out.

What if I cannot make the date?

Register your interest anyway and we will let you know as soon as the next one is scheduled. If demand goes past ten we will look at opening a second session on Sunday 18 October, and the people on the list hear about it first.

What if I register and then something comes up?

Let us know at least seven days before and we will move you to the next workshop or refund you in full. Inside seven days we will still move you across to the next date, and you keep the recording and the guide either way. These are the specific conditions referred to in our Terms & Conditions. [CONFIRM THIS POLICY WITH TIM]

Can I claim this on private health?

No. This is an educational workshop rather than a clinical treatment, so it is not claimable on private health insurance. We would rather tell you that up front than have you find out afterwards.

Is the recording included, or extra?

Included. Everyone who attends gets the recording and the take-home guide, so the afternoon does not disappear the moment you walk out. It is yours for your own use, and it stays available for [ACCESS PERIOD].

The day is filmed. What does that mean for me?

We record the workshop so everyone can revisit it afterwards, which means voices, questions and sometimes faces are captured. Tim will say so at the start, and if you would rather not appear you can sit to one side and nothing changes about your afternoon.

I have an existing injury or a condition. Should I still come?

Very likely yes, and please tell us about it when you register so Tim knows before the day. The workshop does not replace advice from your doctor, physio or specialist, and where something needs their input we will say so rather than work around them.
